I am a Canberra psychologist who uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches) to help people who want to feel better, improve their quality of life, and achieve goals that are important to them. I enjoy helping people who are having trouble dealing with stress in the workplace, though many (if not most) of my clients have concerns that show up in their private lives. Intimacy, relationships, and sexuality are common areas of concern. In all cases, I help my clients set and define goals, and I use approaches that work, such as CBT. All the while I try to bringing warmth and a sense of humour into the therapy room.
