You’re all practicing social distance in response to the COVID-19 virus, and our own business is closed to walk-in customers. This makes following this advice much more difficult. It’s served as a wake-up call for all of us, reminding us that we need to update our wine-shopping advice for an increasingly online world.
Perhaps you’re usually so busy that you don’t have time to go to a nearby store. There’s also the issue of carrying the bulky bottles back home. Perhaps you’re concerned about the prices or variety at your local store. So, you buy local when you only need something quick for tonight’s dinner, but you prefer to make significant purchases from an online store with a broader selection.
