Daydream Island is also called daydream reef or living reef because of its eco-friendly nature and huge collection of live coral. The island is full of marine biologist throughout the year and guests can even spend time with baby stingrays. The coral lagoon consists of a huge area and unique marine life. There’s a new Observatory in progress that will allow visitors to look directly at the marine life inhabiting up to 4 meters below the main surface.
There are many types of accommodation options throughout the island featuring family-friendly as well as special access suites. The island comes with many top-class restaurants and bars. The restaurants offer everything from traditional Australian food to international best food menus. The bars are packed with wildness all day round. This island is the closest to the mainland and as its name suggest, the island is more than 9km in length but only 400m in width at the widest point.
