France is famous worldwide for its cuisine, and traces back its culinary
traditions to families living from the land, each region developing its
own specialties. French delicatessen, or “Charcuterie”, became a form of art, particularly in the South-West of France, each family jealously preserving their own recipes and passing them from one generation to the other.
