The Liverpool/Fairfield Sexual Assault Service is a Community Health based team providing services to children, young people and adults who have been sexually assaulted. The team is staffed by Counsellors (Social Workers, Psychologists and related disciplines) and Medical Officers. The services provided are for a wide range of emotional, psychological, behavioural, medical concern and legal aspects following sexual assault. The team is responsible for the provision of the After Hours Crisis Service to children and adults who have been recently sexually assaulted.

Shared Counselling (SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICES)(LIVERPOOL FAIRFIELD)(LIVERPOOL) (NSW) (Australia)
This new program will consist of 3-4 women and one counsellor who will meet on a regular basis for 6 weeks. Women have the opportunity to meet with other women who have had similar experiences; value and learn from each other's experiences; explore issues; access a counsellor on a regular basis. 3 groups will be offered initially to women who have lived with or are currently living with domestic violence; have experienced or are experiencing grief and loss; are a survivor of sexual abuse.
